MTNLoaded problems

Hi All

Anyone else experience problems with mtnloaded e-mail? Can't even connect to mtnloaded on the web.

Same here, since yesterday I got the same problem. http://mail.mtnloaded.co.za/ gives me an error


ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://mail.mtnloaded.co.za/
The following error was encountered:
Connection to 41.208.18.9 Failed
The system returned:
(111) Connection refused
The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.
 
A short while ago the server was reset. But evidently still faulty. It should be up again sometime tomorrow. Is it not IT practice to have a standby server which can be used whilst the main one is being fixed or is this too complex for the data experts at MTN?

me thinks eMTyN is so busy fighting corruption charges on all fronts, that they couldn't be bothered looking after the "free" services they promised to provide - scumbags!
 
It's up but only slowly trickling through mail. Just received some of my standard mails from the 28th.

to complex .... for them that is.

i work for a small IT company, but its more properly run than voda and mtn put together because we got the experience. :)

Dear MTN Loaded email user,

We apologise for the downtime experienced on the MTN Loaded email platform earlier this week. We are also aware of previous service instability and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. We have put a plan in place to rectify the situation on a long term basis which will be actioned in the near future.

In the interim, we are stabilising the current platform. This requires some scheduled downtime, which will take place this Sunday, 2 September from appromimately 3pm - 7pm. Thank you for your understanding.
