MTNs GPRS rates FAR from the LOWEST !!!!

I read somewhere that MTNBB says that MTNs rates are the lowest in the world....
Check this out:

AIRTEL ( INDIA ) offers an EDGE/GPRS datacard with three options:
( Note datacard is free on the contract )
the data packages they offer with the card are:

100mb incl with free card for : R61 per month and 76c per mb exceeding 100mb.

1GB : R92 ( 9c per mb ! ) and 46c per additional mb

1.5GB : R122 ( 8c per mb!!!! ) and 46c per additional mb.
MTN, dont make false claims.........

MTNBB when are we getting the promised "sweetspots"?
 
Regardless of what / or whom it hurts, the FACT remains that the hurtfull truth applies to ALL three the networks in SA. We all pay more or less the same. And do you see MTN or Darth Vodacom OR EVEN Cell C dropping their rate with Telkom being at the root of all evil?

The telecom industry is going to change over the next couple months.All operators will compete with each other.

For starters NUMBER PORTABILITY.And if a company gives bad service.You the customer will go to another network that offer better service.
 
I think we all have to wait for number portability to come in and any upset client can then choose what they like and who they want to be with, no use complaining now as nothing is going to be done.

A leading SP in South Africa is going to change the South African Landscape and currently they are a huge force in SA.
Watch this Cellular Landscape ...

C'mon, give me a break!!!
I post messages all over & i mentioned somewhere that I am a user of both networks - actually we ( my family ) have 8 MTN contracts, 3 Vodacom and 2 CellC - I use all...and use the best service available from whoever at the best price available.....I said it before - on A Vodacom thread.....that ALL THE NETWORKS are KILLING us -compared to overseas networks -

Truth is MTNs claim is false. PERIOD.

By the way; i complained on the Vodacom forum regarding no 3G in Krugersdorp and within 3 days they had it running....

Ive complained about MTN having no EDGE nor 3G in Krugersdorp....and im still waiting....
also waiting for "sweetspots"
 
I agree with Mams, MTN shouldn't claim to be cheapest when they are not.

They have a chance to take a lot of market share now and they are not going to get it by charging the same price as Vodacom.
