So my GF has a prepaid sim card.
Money is being deducted from it as soon as it is charged up.
We would like to log into the mtn website to see what the last 10 deductions are etc etc.
Except to retrieve your pin you have to call

"Dial 083 123 PASS(7277) from your cellphone and we will reset your PIN for you. This call is charged at R1.80 (contract) or R2.85 (prepaid) per minute. "

Now how are we sposed to call that when any money we load onto the card gets deducted almost immediately?

I think MTN Active only works for contract subscribers, not for pre-paid.

well i would imagine like vodacom it would and anyway it says she's registered already.

Have you tried navigating round MTN Active? It's a schlep and a pain in the a**e, anything to make it more difficult for the consumer to find out how badly they're being screwed

She has to call 173 from her mtn number (free call) ask them if there are any content charges then they will give u the phone numbers of the companies she is subscribed to then she has to call those numbers to cancel and no she wont get her airtime back and yes i know she didnt subscribe to anything ;-)
