Hi guys.

I had a Linux IPCop box that my connection used to run on, but it kinda saw it's backside about a week ago. So I switched back to my SMC BarricadeG wireless access point to handle my connection.

Problem is that, since then, my connection has been really sluggish.

I was wondering whether it could be the MTU setting that might be affecting it? It's set at 1454 at the moment. Is there any specific setting that I should be using to get the best results?

I'm on IS Uncapped Express (I think it's called that?)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the reply guys. I read both the posts, but it didn't really answer my question.

wcoetzee, yours has some recommended settings, but they are for BT etc. From what I can see there, 1430 is the best to use, so I'll try that.
