"When requested by a router for an MTU size please use 1392 for normal use and 1364 if you are going to be using the connection for VPN purposes.

Cheers

Shaun"

Sorry for the newbie Q but what does MTU & VPN stand for & how does it efect my iburst connection?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximum_transmission_unit

MTU - Maximum transmission unit
It's basically the size of the packet that gets sent from the tower to your modem, this can affect things like ping etc

VPN - Virtual Private Network
This won't affect your connection since you most probably won't use one. Its kinda like setting up a mini-lan over the internet...

My MTU is 1352 and I get an average of 200KBs in Fourways with an external antenna, would changing it to 1392 help as I don't use VPN.
Update: Really helped putting it on 1392 and I'm getting average 500KBs
