Are you using a router?
Mobile broadband it's 1500 but with DSL type connections it's normally 1492. The protocol is self healing so it will adjust the value by itself if a problem arises. So don't worry with that

Firstly run TCPOptimizer and see what REAL value of MTU you must use.
In my case it was 1400.
It is really give speed increase!

I did not know you need to set the MTU setting for anything else but Iburst.

In my case it was 1400.
It is really give speed increase!

Checked MTU on Telkom LTE. Already set to 1500
Tool indicates 1500 @ 10mbps
