some pretty intelligent words coming from leaders in Zimbabwe. There might be future hope.

One cannot believe anything that comes out of Zimbabwe.
I have read these sort of reports only to read a contradictory one a couple of days later.
Who is in charge of Zimbabwe?
For this man to actually say this means that he is going against Mugabe's wishes.
We all know the land grabs were political. What is this person trying to say?
That they made a few mistakes. 4500 mistakes!
Load of nonsense I think.
Obviously not enough money in the kitty to pay all the hangers on any more.
The cracks are very evident in Mugabe's Government.
The Government is bankrupt. I think that is more the truth of the matter.
No money to pay the public servants?
Let's see how loyal Mugabe's army is when they don't get their pay cheques.
What always confused me about the whole land issue and this is also applicable to South Africa.
When they refer to "Landless Blacks" and then put word "Farms" in the same sentence.
This makes no sense. Landless people can be defined in many ways.
Are all landless people looking to farm? I think not.
"What they are doing is to go into the houses where whites were living and they want land, they just plough a small hectarage, and they are saying that's enough," he said.
"We have taken this land, and (are) using it for political gains other than the development of the agricultural industry."
And this is the crux of the recent revelation of the 2IC to Mugabe in Zimbabwe.
Who wants to farm? Farming is hard work. You need to have it in your blood.
Simply putting a few people on a farm and telling them to farm is a recipe for disaster.
He said the programme, which has so far seen the seizure of more than 4 000 white-owned farms, was meant to take back farms stolen by whites during colonial rule
Really?
I will take that with a very large pinch of salt, thank you.
