Well there you go - 'adequate compensation' and not 'terrorising' people - now what's stopping him from choosing any adequate amount of money and imprisoning people instead without torture. Those would meet his requirements.
The West is right not to give cash yet. Sadly our taxes will go to pay for these compensations, even if low, the rest will go to rebuild the Zim police, army, government, buy new Mercs for the elite and so on, then give the scraps to people.![]()
I agree that the west and whoever should not be giving any money or easing any sanctions at this juncture. The call to do so by our foreign affairs minister is also extremely premature considering that there are still people being detained as political prisoners on ludicrous trumpted up charges.
Land reform is necessary in Zim as it is here, it just has to be done within the framework of the law and in a way that is accpetable to all parties.
When people work together almost anything is possible.
What Mugabe is doing is purely an attack on white people, nothing more.
