A multi-billion-rand contract between SASSA and Postbank is to be terminated this month. But Postbank has approached the court to get this set aside.

Given that the notice was issued 18 months ago, Postbank does not have an urgent case. It has had more than sufficient time to either approach the courts or negotiate a new contract. Seems to me that with only 6 million clients including the 3 million grant beneficiaries that it is just another irrelevant SOE that adds no value and costs the taxpayers money to keep running.
