Multichoice DCC (Decoder Care Contract) vs Game Extended Warrantee !

Some point of interest. Please advise which is regarded as a better option, based on maintenance.

R 399.00 = 3 year extended warrantee

qustion is it worth it to insure? exept for theft, replacing a decoder is about R600 (SD PVR not sure what they charge for a HD) direct from monochoice

I think the multichoice DCC thing also covers theft and lightning damage and stuff, so it is more like insurance than a warranty.
