MultiChoice fined for scaring children

Shame, poor mommy's babies

Admittedly it's a bit pathetic of the complainants but what's the point of parental control if you're going to promote adult content on kids channels ? Bit pathetic of multichoice to dispute the claim in my opinion. I guess if you've got lawyers you might as well use them.

Bornman was upset by the “gruesome, shocking and frightening pictures” shown in the promotion, which she watched with her children, aged between two and seven.

Does anyone remember the old FPB rating system? You'd have an 18 restricted movie labeled "2-18", implying that is was okay for children aged 2 and younger to be present when the movie was shown.

R40k how will Multichoice ever come back from this!?

:D

Last night, just after Carte Blanche and before Noah started, they had this really violet trailer for some DSTV Edge series.

I thought that was at least a 16 age restriction and couldn't believe they were showing it.

They did do the age restriction warning before the trailer though.
