On the 4th of February I created a thread on the DStv Forum.
On the 5th of February a Mod claimed to have forwarded my thread to “relevnt people (sic)”.
On the 7th of February I asked when I can expect a reply, and on the 8th came the last post from MC: “Please give me until Tuesday, latest”.
Then some time after the 10th of March, after four Tuesdays of nothing from MC, they closed the thread.
How am I supposed to react to this, what’s the point of the DStv Forum if they’re just going to ignore their customers?

it's not in MC's interest to listen to or meet their customers requirements

^ that. They exist purely to make money and while they're making money they're thinking of [-]new[/-] different ways to make more money. This excludes their annual subscription increases of course.

If you don't like the way they do business, then cancel the contract.

Or keep on paying, but don't moan on their forums.

I wasn’t moaning, and so what if I was, I give them more than R700 a month, that either buys be the right to be entertained or it buys me right to complain about not being entertained.
I mean what’s wrong with asking them to broadcast a few anime films on one of their eight movie channels, so far it’s just been the same stuff we watched at the cinemas, the same stuff we rented from video stores (or BoxOffice), even the same stuff that has already been on SABC and eTV.
Ever there TV shows, just look at how many channels are showing CSI right now.
Compared to that a few anime films isn’t too much to ask, heck, compared to that even a 24h anime channel seems fair, it sure as hell isn’t “moaning”

Took them 4 days to sort out my issue, then again I wasnt in too much of a rush.

I feel your pain but it's the same as complaining to Eskom about electricity being expensive or load shedding or pretty much anything else i.e. it's an ultimately fruitless exercise. Like others here have said, either pay up or cancel your subscription (and find an alternative source for your anime).

Dont ever use their forums, they moderate it to hell and back. Use mybb and Hellopeter. But everyone pretty much knows that they couldnt care less about their customers, thats how it goes when there is a monopoly in place

Vote with your wallet and source elsewhere - they will not listen and never will - customers are purely cash cows to them... so much more!
