Multichoice is launching new mega streaming service with Comcast

Launched a search party. They've unfortunately been unable to locate any f**** to give

Peacock hmm, so things like Monk and Psych would be available here again? I miss those

Comcast is a terrible company, I guess birds of a feather flock together at the end of the day.

Well I'm intrigued by this...

Depending on the content available, I might even be intrigued enough to subscribe for a short while.

I have PeacockTV currently, their content is not to bad. I have it mostly for the international rugby.

I've heard its decent enough...

Also, Multichoice are doing the one thing that Disney fscked up on. They're going with an international platform, not some half arsed bullshyte designed for the Indian market.

The Disney+ app on Android is.... laughable. Using Disney+ on a Samsung TV for instance is far easier and smoother.

I have low expectations for this new version of Showmax, but Multichoice is probably banking hard on a viable streaming competition with Netflix. Interesting.

For me its not entirely about the app... its that backend and the bollocks reliance on cellphone number as the "account"... the number of people who are moaning about how crap the whole streaming infrastructure is across the many markets that have been lumbered with this Hotstar garbage
