MultiChoice needs an African Showmax miracle

What is this showmax you speak of? I notice a button on my remote.. Never pressed it though, I don't think so anyway.
 
Same old story spending money on new things and not looking after original customers, crap programs repeated week after week on different channels you never learned

If this is what they need, workers may just as well start packing up in the meantime.
 
Since the Showmax 2.0 app has been forced on us, I’ve actually lost the ability to watch showmax at all. Upon opening the showmax app on either my Nvidia Shield or Google Chromecast, I’m redirected to download the new version… which surprise surprise says that the country I’m in is not supported. wtf!
 
If Showmax needs to succeed, why isn't it better than it is? At a minimum, don't restrict the Premier League to mobile only, and maybe also throw in the other European leagues. It is unlikely someone paying to watch EPL on Showmax is also paying for additional Supersport access, so why not just give Showmax all the football?
 
It will need more than that to survive.

why did multi choice discontinue Showmax on explora decoders while is still benefiting from decoder subscribers
 
MultiChoice and Comcast have not disclosed the initial sum NBCUniversal paid for its 30% stake in Showmax.

The total price for the sale of 30% of the existing Showmax business was an amount of $29 million (R536 million).

It was gonna be prudent of them to offer exchange fee for decoders then, than leaving people in wilderness
