So Multichoice debited my account for R753 this morning. I'm not in arrears and the DO's have been going off just fine for months. Anybody else got charged extra? I don't remember seeing anything about an increase.

This is just another reason why I should migrate to compact

it should be about R690 now... not R753..
and its for this reason I don't allow companies to put debit orders on my account.. it gives them the control of how much to charge.. not me

Premium is R590
XV/PVR is R65
less R2.28 DO incentive

Thats R652.72

R100 difference... any chance you rented 4 Box Office movies?

if you subscribing to the premium and one of the other bouqets and maybe extra view sounds about right

Only premium, no bouquets, no extra view. After the Champions League final, I'm migrating to Compact. This is ridiculous. HD ain't worth 400 bucks

I know it may seem strange to recommend you phone multichoice but give it a try, you might find out the exact reason faster than posting here but i could be wrong of course.

tired of the exorbitant prices for drivel on DsTV premium we moved to compact a few months ago and never looked back. it's under R300 and the only channel we miss is BBC knowledge. if you're a sports fan (!!!!!) best to check on the multichoice website which channels you receive on compact before changing.

I just thought I'd ask if anyone experienced the same thing. I'll go to a branch tomorrow. I hate holding on the phone

I won't allow Multichoice to run debit orders anymore... A couple of years ago they ran fourteen debits over a twelve month period, there was one reversal but I still ended up paying thirteen times that year. Went to the offices in Randburg twice to sort it out with no luck so I eventually just laughed it off.

It's your own fault for signing up with crooks! :p

Odd that they have never stolen a cent from me, do they run scams like this and hope nobody notices or something.

Do you mean they are crooks because they offer a service and people accept it but that isn't stealing

Well they still haven't processed my cancellation request correctly despite 2 queries being logged. They just sent me another bill... Idiots.

Every time I phone they ask if I want to switch to a debit order. I almost can't hold back the laughter. Thanks but I'll stick to paying online each month.
