DStv owner hammering pirate streaming services

MutliChoice has been cracking down on illegal IPTV services in recent months, partnering with South African law enforcement to make several arrests to curb the use of platforms such as Waka TV.

Internet Protocol Television, IPTV, or TV over broadband, delivers live television programming services via the Internet.

Are those services even reliable? I was at the mall few weeks ago and these guys are selling TV boxes with everything installed and ready.

Movies ,series and sports is what the salesmen kept mentioning for R800 for the device.

That **** is probably buffering like mf if it's all free services

Having used both "pirated" and "legally free" iptv services, a lot of them didn't buffer at all. Even where "legal" IE DSTV Stream, E-TV and SABC streams struggled.

Who cares LOL. My IPTV for 15 months does not even cost what these fckers ask per month for the same sht thats on repeat everyday.

Read the room and drop your prices or make smaller packages available. I currently only use DSTV to watch the news. I wouldn't mind paying 150 to just get the news channels.

There are smaller packages, you don't have to have premium

Sky News, Afrikaans SABC News (delayed) , and others are FREE on YOUTUBE.

People and organisations that tackle and fight the symptoms of a problem, rather than tackle the problem head on never cease to amaze me.

It depends on your internet connection. It is excellent on a 50/50Mbps connection.
As someone on the main page posted - you can get all of it mahala if you're prepared to do some searching.

Your ISP also plays a part. The weekend I loaded a few on my Firestick. They work fairly well at home on RAIN 5g - took it to my Son and tried it on VOX 120/120 fiber and it was bad. Will investigate further, as this was not expected.
