Multimedia wireless presentation system

Hi

I'm looking for something to hook up a 50" LCD in our boardroom wirelessly. So that you can just plonk down you laptop in the board room and wireless hook it up to the LCD.

I found the wePresent wp-820 (see link below) which can do what I want, but doesn't support 16:9 aspect ration. It may support 16:9 via firmware upgrade, but cant find any info on that. The wp-820 retails for about R6000 locally.

Has anybody else played around with this, or know of a solution to use.

Any help/suggestions welcome.

Ok google'ed around a bit more and found LiteShowII (see link below) which only support 1280*720, but will not be a train smash when doing powerpoint mostly.

Intel are working on wireless HD which should be the answer to your problem, Anandtech was very enthusiastic about it: http://www.anandtech.com/show/2912

Otherwise a good old cable is your best bet.
