Multimon taskbar problem

To everyone with dual view monitors enabled:

I added a secondary monitor to my laptop to extend my desktop real estate. I installed the Multimon TaskBar utility, however when I run the program, it loads the MultiMon taskbar on my primary monitor, instead of loading it on my secondary monitor.

How do I get it to load on the secondary monitor?

it should automatically load onto the monitor which u specified as your secondary monitor - or rather, the monitor that u didnt specify as your primary monitor - in display settings...
close multimon, right click on the desktop, go properties > settings and right click on the screen u do NOT want multimon on and make sure that 'Primary' is selected, and select it if it isn't. start multimon again and all should be well

Thanks, but in Settings the primary monitor is already set to primary (and I can't change it anyway since the option to set the secondary to primary is greyed out). So the monitors are correct, primary is 1, secondary displays 2 etc. It still loads the Multimon taskbar on the primary monitor.

In the meantime I installed Ultramon which works great, just a pity it's not free. Hopefully by the time the trial runs out, I would have found the problem with Multimon.
