Multiplayer games on Xbox Live

Hi

I'm just waiting on my 20m LAN cable before I'm connected on Xbox Live....
Wireless adapter is expensive
What I want to know is what games are at the moment hot on Live and what games are you people playing at the moment on Live. I don't want to connect to Xbox Live and then be shocked to find that the games I got nobody plays

Asault on dark Athena
Burnout Paradise
Lost planet

lol... not yet, but it was always possible to play on XBL

Do you guys use Live to download stuff aswell, or does the fact that we sit with crappy internet kill that option?

I registered on UK. Sometimes some things are region locked. Such as Doom on Arcade. Other than that, I download from Xbox LIVE regularly.

You can download from the market place but some things are blocked you can get around it with VPN

BTW, Live is down for the whole of today
