I want to get ADSL, a 192 line with 2 Accounts, one for business use, a 1GB account, and one 3GB account for family use (since its a home business).

Is it still possible to purchase multiple accounts and simply dialup with the other username and password and access that accounts cap?

Thanks

Yes currently I have two 2 gig accounts from nukecap (IS) It cost R350 for both of them combined and I get 4 gig international and 56 gig local. All in all very sweet :)

All you do is disconnect, change your username and password and you connect on the other account. To save yourself dns problems I suggest u get both accounts from the same ISP.

No !! .. not necessarily from the same ISP .... I had 2 accounts from different ISPs and never had a problem .... worked like a dream .. even works well with the Stats Analyzer from Saix ... you can monitor your usage and the concurrent connections as well.

That's not all - if you are running your ADSL modem in bridge mode - like me, then you can have your computer connect both accounts simultaneously and route intelligently between the 2. But if you want more info on that - there's a thread somewhere that describes the routing setup in detail.

If your calcs are correct (and for business use I use around 800MB a month), I would go for a 1GB unshaped for business use. Would of course depend on your usage style (email and banking only, 1GB shaped is OK). In my case, I need the always-on feature, and not the bandwidth size (Terminal server and unusual port numbers to connect to my server at IS to monitor database etc during the day).

wow, thanks for the great responses, really appreciated... I will investigate the matter today, and post my findings and what I want to get :)

Thanks again :)
