Hi guys,

I don't have int access, so can't google..

Can I run a 4850 (ATI) AND A 9600GT on an SLI board?

I would like the 4850 to be the primary card, and the 9600GT to act as my physics card.

Is this possible? I have all the power requirements sorted etc.

It's just my brother has left the 9600GT to my vices.

:)

hmmm...ati+ati=crossfire= no problemo, nvidia+nvidia=SLI=no problemo....ati+nvidia= errr....not ideal? I whould rather go buy another 9600gt at rectron they sell the 1gb 9600 for 1 grand!, two 9600gt's in sli = fck yeh performance had two Gigabit 1gig 9600gts in sli for a while and let me say the performance was brilliant (average between 50-60fps in crysis on verry high!)...but then one of the cards popped due to bad circulation in my pc case combined with the fact that these cards only had massive heatsinks on and no fans :(

Well I only have 1 x 4850 and 1 x 9600GT
