Hi there,

I have a Web Africa ADSL account at home and a Polka account at another site. The Polka account is used very rarely. I would like to know if it's possible to connect to the Polka account from home while the other PC is still connected to the same account.

Thanks in advance.

What does Polka's TOS* say?

If they prohibit this sort of thing then you cannot do.

Otherwise feel free to go ahead and connect.

*Terms of Service

Well when I try and connect, it doesn't seem to work. No PPP light. The other side has to stay connected as well though, because as I said, it's used rarely.

Thanks again

Edit: I will check the terms of service for any info.

Check to see how many concurrent sessions it allows.

Thanks for the replies guys. Well polka's website has no information whatsoever regarding this, and their control panel is non existent.

I have tried mailing them. This is an old account which I think I need to change over to another ISP. I'm just wasting money as it's hardly used and very expensive.

No response from polka as yet. I think I'm going to change that account to Web Africa Pre-Paid... Do you guys think that would be a viable option for that situation?
