multiple hard drives on 1 sata port

My Asus H81-gamer mobo only has 4 Sata ports, and I have 4 hdd drives already. Is is possible to add more than 1 hdd to a port, as I would like to add an additional ssd to the mix?

The ssd will be pretty small in capacity (probably 120 or 240gb), so I don't really want to exchange it with one of the existing drives.

unfortunately you can only have 1 device per Sata port, you will have to get an add-on card to get extra sata ports.

Buy a pci sata card or a pci-e sata card

It will but only 1 extra internal port so then next time you want a new drive stuck again.

ps: I was thinking the same thing though, for R300 I at least want 2 ports is possible
