I remember you used to be able to use the RDP manager in windows 2000 to manage multiple sessions.

It had a tree in the left half of the window that you could configure multiple connections and simply click one to connect.

Anyone know where to get it? I think it was on the res kit.

If I understand you correctly, you want to connect to various servers.

1) you make an RDP connection for each one and save it
2) Create shortcuts on your menu to each saved RDP connection

I do not know of a shorter way of doing it, maybe someoneone else does.

Sorry I misunderstood you. Are you perhaps referring to Terminal Services Manager which are loaded on the servers under the Adminsitrative Tools on your start menu( where you see all connections and can connect as well?

Looking at it I think I have the cat by the tail again!

Yes, I second mRemote, it's really cool, I just discovered it a week or so ago. RDP, Telnet, SSH, SCP, etc, it stores and provides shortcuts to all of them, letting you open them in tabs.

If i'm not mistaken you are looking for the Windows Admin Pack
A couple of tools for AD etc. and one of them is called "Remote Desktops" or something like that.

Anyway i think it was in the admin pack.....

EDIT:

ok i just downloaded and checked, it is called "Remote Desktops" and it is in the admin pack, hope it helps

you could just create your own mmc for multiple rdp connections, start/run mmc and choose the rdp snap-in and create multiple connection all set to login with saved credentials.
