Mazzone is right about the part I put in bold,

but good luck with the SSA. As much as the EFF is the ANC's opposition, they put out the word the ANC is reluctant to put out. What Mazzone is proposing now is to have Ramaphosa become publicly embattled with Malema. Not going to happen, Ramaphosa already has RET on his plate which have ‘tea parties’ with the EFF.

I don't know what point Mazzone wants to prove. For one, the SSA would already be aware, and two, the EFF is doing the ANC's work. Procedurally, the DA would need to report it to the SAHRC and open a case with the police, and then take that case to the courts. Don't expect the desired result though.

She is pursuing more than she can bite. The intention is to expose Julius Malema's involvement in VBS and the bridge tenders. Whatever she wants to report to the SSA has already crossed their desks.

All she will do is enable Malema an opportunity to be challenged in public to speak broadly and openly. Just see the most recent hate-speech case, Malema simply bent poor arguments to his advantage. Mazzone would need to know, once she is engaged in public debate with Malema, it is not about championing the minority, she would need to be in touch with the many’s wants and needs. The aim would need the DA to be better perceived by the public… Malema is good at turning his public rants into symbolism.

Anyhow, the Freedom Front Plus has already reported Malema to the SAHRC. The question then is how the SAHRC will respond to the Freedom Front Plus? I don't see any Constitutional grounds to clear Malema this time around, so I am curious how they will go about addressing this matter. There is a chance that the SAHRC is in the view that it is a matter best handled by courts.
