It's an acquired taste ;)

The idea is to vocally reproduce the sounds of working on an engine interspersed with allusions to white-trash (commonly associated with hotrodding). It is also filled with double entendres about working on a car on the one hand and sex on the other.
The title quotes some of the banter between the racers: "My hotrod is better than yours because Jesus built it".
The song is very much tongue in cheek and should not be taken too seriously (like this post).
I like it because it pissed-off my parents when I was at school and it's a great stress reliever on the dance-floor.

You're not going to go see them, I assume?
