Which one of these would you recommend for a beginner as a starter kit.

I was going to go with the first set listed, but it doesn't have the fret rocker (looks like a Cybertruck) in the second kit from Takealot.

All those sets are garbage, very little is actually useful they just fill them up with junk tools, if possible return the two you purchased because theres virtually nothing in the set that is actually decent quality and needed.

Actually there are some useful tools in there. Even if there is fluff the rest is decent enough to keep.

Sure there are some useful tools in amongst the trash but the value for money is just about nought at those prices.

This is what you are left with once you remove all the filler. The blue packet are files.

You can get this stuff on Temu but it was easier to go through Takealot.

Will pay extra for a decent action gauge though.

The problem is those files are all near useless for guitar work.

The problem is those files are all near useless for guitar work.

Not for taking the sharp edge off new frets.

It also comes with a needle file set.

Yes it's not the best quality but it will get the job done.
