Kashif Irfan, one of the Muslim passengers, told the Post that the problem unfolded after his brother, Atif, and the brother's wife discussed the safest place to sit on an airplane.

"At the end of the day, people got on and made comments they shouldn't have made on the airplane, and other people heard them," Hutcheson was quoted as saying.

So now you can't even talk about where you'd like to sit on a plane!

Fellow passengers apparently felt threatened and complained to the pilot and two federal air marshals on board then reported the matter to airport police.

They have no one else to blame but themselves unfortunately.

They are now being labeld because of their Ghad brothers ;)

Just being careful. Very few people in the world these days trust people dressed in traditional garb. This is because radical terrorists have given their culture a bad name. even the Indian Sikhs are being targeted because of their turbans. Personally, I get a twinge as well when I see people dressed in traditional garb because it is natural to immediately ask yourself if you are safe in any given situation.

I think the DHS managed this one very well. If the Muslim people get upset, maybe they should do something about all those radical terrorists using their religion as a vehicle for murder.

Its just a pity people still don't get the US was behind the trade center attack and should not fear muslims :p, they should fear their government.

Tell that to the family of the victims in the recent Mumbai terrorist attacks.

No hidden agenda. Its just that not everyone should be profiled - but thats in an ideal world. Granted there are a ton of extremists that should be put to death. It is difficult to not be judgmental though - I would probably have reacted in the same way after seeing a few Muslims in their traditional clothes on a plane.

Hmmm what should we say to the 3000+ who lost their lives in the Trade center attacks? What about Iraq all the civilians that died for Nuclear weapons that never existed :), The US is as big a terrorist as the Muslims are :).

I never said some Muslims weren't responsible for those events. And while I'm not denying they weren't responsible for the 9/11 either, I think there is something more beyond the governments explanation of the way it exactly happened. But its a theory and we will never know the exact truth.

As the link says - its a conspiracy theory for 9/11 - not Mumbai, or the London underground!

And we know all those dastardly terrorist attacks were motivated by the same vile ideology.

Hahaha nope, just stumbled on my tin foil hat this morning :), though i should bring in the new year with a bang :p.

I doubt there will be a major terrorist attack in the US again, Obama is not bush and does not need a major event like that to win an election :p
