MUST inverters

So in conclusion. MUST not on the list.

Really shouldn't be trying to use an axpert clone for PV generation and certainly not grid feedback.

But back on topic. Any Axpert like is pretty good for power backup. Mecer, Mr Power, 5Star... Largely all the same aren't they?
My axpert clone is working beautiful. Running element geyser. Electric stove, Computers, Fridges, lights(cfl, led and fLood). Working nicely on Solarassistant and even Hassio can change settings on the go depending on my automations. :)

Not from CT, so whatever was said above your post, pfft. I just wanted feedback on the MUST units :) LOL
I have 2 of these MUST units. Neither has given a days issue since we installed beginning of November. The second one is getting 5 panels next week which is VERY exciting!

My MUST 3kw system has been performing very well during the last couple of years. Running freezer + Printer + CCTV + PC and a couple of lights during LS and original batteries still holding up well.

The only issue I have is that the manual isn't 100% accurate regarding which unit you may have, but check on the back of the inverter for your specific model.

I am hoping to connect some PV panels during Jan to the unit and testing out the built in MPPT + functions regarding how the inverter utilises the PV.

Yeah, seems to be a hit and miss on which model you get

Best to check the side of the inverter regarding the charger - mine ended being the 50amp MPPT which forced my hand to connect my panels in parallel instead of in series like I originally planned.

The unit is working nicely so far and handling all the loads attached very well: fridge/freezer/pc's/routers/couple of lights and the odd AA/AAA battery charger here and there

The one thing I didn't count on was the fan being on constantly, although at a lower speed, whilst the MPPT is working. Methinks I should improve the ventilation around the unit somehow to see if that helps or even adding an extra couple 12V fans like with the Mecer unit.

Yeah, we did check when the units arrived, and that's how I know which one was actually sent. Main difference between the models being the PV Power Max, either 1500W or 2000W

Cloudy and overcast today but the panels are quite overspecced for the inverter...running 2 x 550w Longi's in parallel. During proper sunny days the system wastes a bit but for cloudy days like today, it's running decent

So I am thinking about getting the MUST inverters , I am assuming it's a good option?
Mine's been up for 84 days (looking at the battery balancer) with no issues. Very happy it. Seems to be good value for money.

Just struggling to get the PC software to connect to it via USB. Will look at buying the WiFi dongle maybe

I had a similar issue. Had to install some serial port or comm port driver, then only it connected. Cant remember the exact driver

Probably these

Reinstalled everything yesterday, will try to connect over the weekend to see if it works
