2 Q's:

1) Steers Mustard Sauce 375ml is R21.99; glass bottle or plastic bottle...why would anyone choose plastic over the glass for the same price?

2) Wimpy Mustard Sauce 500ml is R21.99; which is better; Steers slightly smaller option or Wimpy better value option?

I have the Wimpy variant, and the Steers varient (glass bottle).

I prefer the steers. Have no idea what they put in the Wimpy one - tastes rather terrible.

Plastic you can squeeze out while you have to use good old gravity to get it out of glass bottle.

I would prefer Steers' above Wimpy - the latter is a bit too close to hotdog stand mustard for me.

Do either of those products even quality as mustard?

Buy the real deal rather than worrying about which plastic sous to purchase.

Mustard comes in many guises in as many styles of container - from the beer mug German mustard to the Pommery Meaux Mustard in a Stone Jar to the yellow tin of English Mustard… but no matter what… it does not, under any circumstances, have the word sauce in the name.

I've looked at that German beer mug many a time...what does it taste like?

Whole grain mustard smeared on a juicy piece of steak.....unbeatable. The Colman's one is slightly sweeter.....but the Maille one is better

Bit off topic, the best mustard is russian mustard. When abroad look for a russian shop and try it. Nothing that sells here comes even close.
