Please no hate spamming, since I did this to better the chances for us getting better gaming experience on MW2. I know we all are frustrated but until we get them to respond we will not get anywhere.
I am sure they would rather consider it after being pitched this way than but us flaming the thread.

Thanks for those that support the thread.

Just verify your age on the IW website before you click on the link otherwise the link won't work.

That would definitely be a great help, but whether it happens or not is another story.

maybe you could post here what us said for us on local?

Hi there,

I have recently got a copy of MW2 as a present from my very generous brother(Frequency43). :)

No this is not a hate thread...
I work for a ISP in the Development team as production support and I know the challenges of creating a system like the IWNET platform. The technical achievement is sometimes lost the public opinion.

Just a suggestion from my side.

Could you guys not release a Console version of the game that we can run on a dedicated server. You still need to buy it and it works exactly the same as the normal game. Only that it doesn't render the graphics and all the physics on screen and instead uses all the machine's resources to deliver better ping rates.
I know it is what a dedicated server is but this one still works exactly the same as game would in regards with authentication/updates and configuration. They are still done by IWNET.

What would happen is that these boxes will have the better pings and will fill up first and the players lucky enough to be able to play on them will get an awesome gaming experience. Also these boxes are in a Data Center, so they will not go down and the connections will not fail as much as the home users here. If it does then the players will just be migrated to another host.

Where I am coming from is that I work for a ISP in South Africa and our infrastructure is still getting there in terms of bandwidth/stability etc. So the servers that we play on are mostly boxes that are setup with great bandwidth because we basically plug them into the country's backbone to give the gamers here a better playing experience.

I know for a fact that there are a lot of places that you would be able to sell a copy of this if you choose to create this. Then you would make money of the people hosting and the people playing on them, since the console version cannot be played on.

My suggestion to you guys and hopefully it will be looked at in a favorable light.
