Mweb 10MB uncapped

Was wondering if anyone has gone the MWEB 10MB uncapped route. I'm currently on 4MB uncapped, what benefits will i get with 10MB ? Is there really a "double" speed effect or maybe a few kb's more in the end ? It's expensive and i'm quite sure they will throttle that connection same as others ?

It should be somewhere around double the speed, but I have no idea what it's really like. It's the same price to just get 4mb unshaped from MWeb which could actually be faster. Although late at night etc the 10Mb will be faster. Depends if you're looking to pull more data or just get a better overall experience.

If you thinking about going this route make sure your exchange supports 10MB,easiest way to check is to use a capped account like a afrihost 1GB account and see if you get 10MB speeds or speeds higher than 450kbps or just check on your router if you dont have a capped account.

They can barely get 4mb uncapped working at full speed all the time or at all so how the hell will they get 10mb right?

By assigning it more bandwidth.. they obviously could get 4Mb running full speed all the time, it just wouldn't make any money. So when you're paying 4x the price for 10mb they can make it work. Not sure if they really do but obviously that's the plan.
