My International just went dead as of 00:15 16/07/2010. Anyone else?

Yup, me too. Lost everything and then about a minute later local started working again, but international is down.

And now its back 00:31

someone was getting coffee and tripped over the server plugs! xD

MWeb is giving me such bull**** service sofar that im seriously considering going back to telkom as i never had down time or sluggish connectin from . The pure fact that MWeb only aquired redundency AFTER Seacom went down is just plain pathetic imo , a "Tier 1" ISP like them should have done that way before hand and wait till ppl start bitching before they do something about the fact

But ja in the end it looks like "hellkom" isnt that bad :/ .

Peace out , got my nerd rage session in for the night , gona go sleep now

i smell something fishy. I just restarted my router and i was connected for about 30 seconds with great speeds (had a latency test up asap to test connectivity) then the line dropped for about a minute and came back with the crapola speeds i've been having for the last three days.

What exactly is mweb doing? I dont think it has anything to do with their adhoc redundancy. When they first announced they had secured alternate routes for their bandwidth, i was getting decent speeds, not as good as normal obviously but it did the job, now its gone down the hole and i feel like i'm on dial up =/

I want answers MWEB!

Change to SAIX then. MWEB said they secured 30GB each of b/w for us on SAIX (SAT-3).

Remove the "dsl" bit from the login.
