MWEB 4meg Line Speed

Lately only been getting 0.53mbps on a 4 meg line (MWEB), what could be causing this?

Yes that would be the most reasonable explanation. Are you on a capped or uncapped deal?

having the same issues on uncapped 4meg... been dead slow for days! torrents barely reaching 60kb/s and with those torrents running can't browse unless I stop them...

Sounds like you're being shaped okes. If you're heavy downloaders then it's quite possible. Haven't heard too many complaints of confirmed shaping on MWEB though.
