So I am upgrading my ADSL to Fibre. Vumatel did the installation 2 days ago and I immediately gave Mweb the vt number and requested the 100Mbps package.
My router is set on DHCP and router only.
Initially I was only getting the Vumatel shopping landing page.
I then received an email
Thanks for your order! Your order of 100/100Mbps Fibre with 500GB - Month to month from MWEB has now been received. Order number: O000000086885 The order will be connected to: xxxxxxxxxxxxx, Cape Town Your service is active from the following date: 5/11/2018 12:00:00 AM
This morning the landing page was a MWEb error 606. I contacted support and they spun me some story about having to wait another 48 hours for credentials.
Can this be true, and does it take this long for MWEB to activate a fibre package?
