Hello everyone. I use to run n old Telkom Marconi router for +/- 5 years and have had no problems whatsoever. So, in order to get some better wireless coverage I replaced it with a D-Link DSL-2750U. Setup went fine, it connects and I can surf. But for some very, very odd reason it randomly disconnects the MWEB 4MB uncapped account during the day/night. I check the "Statistics" page and it says "Connecting...". The reason I am posting my question here is I believe it to be my ADSL account rather then my line as the ADSL light stays green throughout all the troubleshooting. Any suggestions?

Hi MadCat

It sounds like your line might be running a slight error. We've found that sometimes those older Marconi routers could be quite forgiving and still maintain a sync on less than perfect line conditions.

You could also try adjusting the modulation settings on the D-Link to see if that helps.

Drop MWEB guy a PM with your details and we can check out the line for you and arrange for one of our specialists to run through the router settings with you if necessary.

Regards
Will
