Mweb ADSL and CS:GO game servers

Hi there, a co-worker recommended posting here to see if any of you may be able to offer some assistance. Here is my story.

I use an 8 Meg ADSL line with a 300 GB cap through Mweb. I live in East London

In my spare time I play CS:GO in the Telkom Vs Gaming league with a few friends. The requirement is that we have to play on their game servers and I'm getting double the "normal" ping to their servers. I phoned through to Mweb's technical support and after trying to explain in great detail what my issue was, he mentioned that it may be the "email server giving issues" I lost all hope.

I have called Telkom to rule out my line, they said there are no issues and I ran the "is it my line" report tool to confirm that the line is fine. Mweb Tech suggested trying other guest accounts but couldn't ping the servers in question.

I've attached two tracert's one to Jhb and one to Cpt server. If it can lead to any answers, I'd be most grateful.
Side note, I used my phone to tether on the Vodacom network and got a solid 60ms.

If I have to change ISP's who would you recommend? Seriously lost here.

Buy a cheapo prepaid 1gb account from afrihost and test.

Should be up and running within just a few minutes

Can you post your line stats from the router?

You really should get some free 1GB trial accounts from other isps to test with.
