Anyone got any idea when mweb are going to offer packages higher than the current 4Mbps service? My exchange has been upgraded weeks ago, but I cannot take advantage of the higher speeds at the moment because I am on an MWEB uncapped 4Mbps account. I thought it was going to be in September. If that is the case, there are only 5 working days to go in the month and all seems very quiet.

there is still 10 days left of september....

but i just want to know wtf is gonna happen to the other accounts if they can barely support what they have now??

Very true.I am on a capped account and have a download speed of 7008 Kbs/s.Over the weekands I have to reboot my router 4 to 5 times a day.It is not Telkom but the problem is Mweb as the connection is idle.During the week I have very few problems with my connection.

placebo, then you just need to adjust the timeout/keepalive settings on your router.

so, september has come and gone. anyone know when MWEB is going to start their 10Mbps offering?

this whole 10mb thing is having more of a negative effect on people...
some exchanges are so messed up people get constant disconnections, pings of like 1000, and all round crappy service...

mweb and other uncapped people are going to offer 10mb uncapped because they are only in it for the money and dont care about degrading performance and the fact that they cant even handle what they have now... so whats gonna happen?
