Mweb and OPENVPN

Hi

Anybody here using MWEB and OpenVPN, Its driving me up the wall, when i went mweb uncaped in march my ping times to my branches where all 50ms to 70ms. Now its all over 200ms.

I'm on a 4mb line and at the moment i cant even run services like remote desktop

Anyone else have the same problem or a solution?

You should start investigating the traffic on the line with a packet sniffer or proxy server. This will give you a idea if something is overloading your line. Once that is done i would do trace routes to the branches and identify what hop causes the latency. Once your each that point you should have a good idea where the problem is.

i did a simple test, i disconnected my mweb, and connected with my personal telkom account for a few min and everything was running 100%, fast and everything was beautiful.

My OpenVPN works just fine, but I'm on an unshaped account.
