Hi

I have been playing MW2 for some time and never really had any issues, the last couple days I have not been able to connect to the steam servers.

I have uPNP enabled, I also manually forward all the ports needed to connect to steam, but nothing

I am Mweb 4mb uncapped, have linksys WAG320N router

Anyone else having same issues, if so, any possible solutions for this

Thanks

Everyone, except browsers and http downloaders are having problems since Friday. Some decent feedback from Mweb on when these problems will be fixed would go a long way to restoring some confidence.

I'm on MWEB 4MB Uncapped and steam as been problematic all weekend. It doesnt want to login, or takes numerous atempts to login, howeer once I'm in the steam client, I can play MW2 for hours on end. If I leave the game and steam idles for an hour or so, then it disconnects and it takes ages to get it to log in again.

According to the Mweb techs, they apparently have some Seacom connectivity issues (likely a backhaul link down) so they are running on their backup link @ 60% capacity.
Translation : Everything is basically shaped to shaite.
Hope no-one needs to VPN to work for a few days, or have set their spare server up on a non-standard web port... :)
