Mweb billing issues

I have recently moved from iBurst to ADSL - MWeb 4 meg uncapped, and am about ready to move back to iBurst - they may not have uncapped but at least I don't have to reset my router 5 times a day and their billing was accurate!

I received my first account from MWeb the other day - billing from 4/11 till 31/12 - total R1 024.10 - somehow they managed to deduct R1 468.10 from my account - when I queried the additional deduction this is the response I received -

"Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

We have got feedback and have been informed that your account was upgraded on the 24th November 2010 so therefore the amount of R1024.10 was already submitted to the bank.

So therefore billed R899.00 p/m thereafter.

Please contact us should you need any further assistance."

Colour me confused... my account was upgraded to what exactly?

Not impressed at all.
 
Send a PM to "MWeb Operations" regarding your billing query. Having to restart a router 5 times a day is more likely to be a problem with the physical ADSL or the router than the ISP.
