8pm, phone call to mweb to ask why server is unreachable.
Now 3:35am and they still have not put a KVM on that server to see what's wrong.
Business Gold Support is what it is...........:erm:

These big ISPs are a problem when it comes to support. I have been with a less porpular ISP for our company's internet connectivity and the support is great. They know your name you know their names and the actual connectivity is awesome.

I think quotes like this should have a YMMV disclaimer.

I've had excellent support from mweb and the MwebGuy on mybb is great too! Friendly and helpful!
I'm not saying they're flawless, just that sometimes you get good support and sometimes not, so, YMMV
 
he whole of last night until about 5am i was told that the engineers were working on the problem, turns out that the "engineer" was doing his shift from home.........

I sorted the problem out myself eventually, but i'm STILL waiting for them to call me back on the progress of my request. looks like my request is in the black hole.

I've been waiting 6 weeks for them to add a domain to a nameserver so that we can host a second domain within our premises.
Now in the process of cancelling our account with them.

I'm with XDSL we are on one of their fiber products no sweat and no 30 minute queues for me
 
Phone call this morning from Mweb customer service asking me if i was happy with the way my issue was dealt with.

In short i told them that by the end of June i would be moving my hosted dedicated servers to another provider.
