I've got a couple of q's about MWEB's uncapped ADSL Business Solution:

1) Does it allow multiple sessions?
2) Can you use your own modem?
3) Can you do P2P?

We bought a business that came with MWEB ADSL - is now wondering if I can co-use it from home

p2p with uncapped lol no ways

when they say uncapped they mean you prolly wont use more than 5 gigs because all you do is surf and email

just buy an account from another isp

have u guys seen mweb awesome offer of 145 for 1 gig rofl

The business adsl from Mweb is the IS uncapped solution, just resold by Mweb.

You got a cisco router with the package right? So no, you cant share it at multiple locations.

You can use p2p on the full business solution tho.

yes killadoob, the IS business Solution ranging from R1500 ex vat allows full p2p, you can use the bandwidth the way you like.

No its not shaped, but still go via Satellite, so expect 600-800ms internationally.


We offer the scaled down IS package, with P2P removed, thats why we can offer it for cheaper than the entry level 512K Uncapped Solution with p2p enabled.

Our package is mainly aimed at businesses doing alot of traffic and who doesnt require p2p.

The full fledged 512K IS Uncapped Solution, which you can get from Imagine.co.za do allow all the p2p goodies but comes at a price which most home users do not wish to put aside

The ADSL is used to provide hotspot connectivity - I guess it whould be the "big daddy" solution?
