Looks like CINX had some connectivity problems today with IS and MWEB peering links, can still access Google Cache Servers via google.cinx.net.za

I'm not aware of any outages at CINX. Remember however, that Akamai continuously monitors the performance of their network and can redirect users to other nodes to spread load or improve performance at any time. This is not neccessarilly indicative of a failure.

What do you mean by 'available'? It is quite common for the IPs used at IXPs to not be reachable or pingable beyond the routers connected directly to the Internet exchange. I can promise you that Mweb is not down at CINX. They are carrying a significant amount of traffic at CINX right now.

What are you trying to do? What do you think is broken?
