Yesterday morning my entire phone was cut off, can't call, can't sms, nothing.
10 mins earlier I received 3 sms's from Vodacom, 1st one said "you have reached 90% of your voluntary R780 limit", 2nd one said I had reached 50% and the 3rd finally said I had reached my limit and my service suspended.
Firstly, there is no possible way on this green earth I used anywhere close to R890 on data, absolutely impossible, I check my mail on my phone once maybe twice a day. I check FB if I am bored, maybe once a day and that is it. I don't do anything else. I have checked my Usage on my iPhone and it says sent 158 and received 508, and that is since I have had the phone which is about 1 year and 2 months ago.
If this R890 is minus my contract which is about R360 or so that still means I allegedally used R530 worth of data, how much would you actually have to dl to use that amount, its nuts!
The 2nd thing is that when I got those sms's I quickly checked my free minute balance and my remaining sms's on my sms bundle. My free minutes said I had 3, which is nuts, I am on a Talk 130 and I have hardly used my phone this month, so something cooked there. Then I check my sms balance and it says "No sms bundle loaded" or something like that. Like WTF?
Then to make things even more confusing, I call VC and when they repeat the number you are dialing from back to you over the phone, its not even my number!?!? WTF again.
Now my phone is suspended, I am waiting to hear back from useless Mweb but still not a word.
Anyone else had this issue?
