Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how one can get hold of a Human at MWEB support? Their automated system sux. I changed my Cell provider recently and want to change my details with them. Everything one tries with the automated systems sends an OTP to my old number which no longer exists. I cannot get hold of anyone. I have never come across a company that does not have at least one support Email account.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Ha Ha - I get your point. Has anyone got contact details at all? I remember years ago there used to be an MWEB rep on here....
 
and that is exactly why i dont deal with mweb any longer and probably never ever will deal with them again
 
Perhaps you can still reach him ... on an Altech / Autopage / Nashua / MWeb fax number.

But seriously, take some African Advice and fax them or send them a letter.

You got a Fax Number? Cannot find one. Will give it a go though.
 
Back to the drawing board - No answer on that Fax Number
 
I tried to sign up with them got a message a week later on Facebook they have a big back log of applications if im still interested LoL i told them to late went with Cool Ideas.They dont answer phones also.
 
Called their Sales Number and got someone from "Sales" to answer after 37 minutes of holding. Got an email with a Document that I had to fill in within seconds from [email protected] for the OTP number change. (Who still does this via paper/scan/fax?) Sent it all back to [email protected] which I got a reply from with a ref number. The sales account that I copied returned an error. Will post what comes back if anything.

For legal purposes, no? Sure, you're not signing a contract/lease, but surely they need records of who requested such a change as well as who authorized it?

She/he meant "paper/scan/fax" submission requirements versus electronic submission facilitation.

Hi, I tried to get support re a SIP account issue with them. After 30 mins on hold, i was told that the details i supplied was incorrect. I had to, after 12 years with them, fill in a "Change of Details form". Poor service, in general from them - lack of proper support including poor technical support. Attached is a screenshot of the email received as well as the "Change of Details form".

Mweb has made contacting them near impossible. Maybe consider traveling to their office and take hostages, then you might get some attention.
