MWEB Fair use policy

Hi Guys

It seems as though my uncapped MWEB adsl account does not do more than 1mbit anymore. I havn't done any p2p traffic over the line, I use it for other things, and now it seems to be clamped to 1mbit max throughput.

It says nothing in their terms and conditions about decreasing the maximum throughput so I find it quite strange. The line does sync on 4mbit btw.

Been trying the whole morning to call their technical support people to no avail, the 086 number just stays engaged.

We do not decrease throughput on any of our products, there is however shaping on our shaped products. Please PM me your details and I will have one of our specialists look into this for you.
We have also tested the 0860 112252 number and it does work.

Yeah, we've used 91.7GB so far on ours and it is still flying, so no throttling as far as I can see.
