The Webmail MWEB mail interface Messagecentre is broken.

http://mc2.mweb.co.za

It does not log you in but goes in an endless loop. You have to clear cookie data for the site and then sometimes it allows you to log in. But this you have to do each alternative time. MWEB fix your stupid Webmail interface. It's been like this for years. Why can't you enter 2015. Gmail does not have these problems.

Hi

Have you tested with a different browser yet?
I tested the MC now and was able to log in with no trouble on a few occations.

MWeb's whole site needs to be redesigned. It is so difficult to find any product on there that I just give up and go find another ISP

MOrning Prof.Merlin, not that hard. Click on ADSL and then compare products.

This will give you an easier way to check pricing and compare products.

Thanks for your feedback though, much appreciated ;)

How about responding to OP around the antiquated webmail interface that arbitrarily works. In my case, on Safari. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

The stock answer is "Use a different browser". And my response is, "Why should I, just because MWeb can't be bothered to support Safari?"

Mweb webmail works on IE....sometimes. On Chrome, never. And it's s-l-o-w. It feels like molasses has got in there. I don't think it likes adblock, hence it works (sort of) in IE. Thank goodness I rarely have to use it.

And proof of its antiquation is it insists on having a little pop-up to display it's glacial loading progress. If the pop-up is blocked (default for some browsers) the page won't load. A pop-up? Please. Get with the program Mweb...

Edit: Back in 2000, when I had Mweb dial-up, I remember that pop-up. I knew it well, as it seemed to hang around on the screen for an awful long time. It's still there....

Hi DuckieZA

One will always be presented with a loading issue at times. Lets takes mc.mweb.co.za out of the picture and just look at other website loading issues.

You will find the one group will have no issues whatsoever in loading a page via IE but then there is a group who does experience issues via IE. Therefore the question; "have you perhaps tried a different browser" would be relevant.

We have hundreds of customers using Safari and have had no queries from these customers recently or for the past 3 months.

There will be a time where process of elimination needs to come to play and we ask this as it will help us help our customer.

Exactly. I do not allow popups for anyone else, why should I enable them for MWeb.

You'd think they could write (buy? rent?) email server software that wouldn't require popups to be enabled. Not to mention that dreadful interface from 2005.

Mweb's site is very bulky and cumbersome, the person who designed it may need glasses.

I personally find it a tad difficult to navigate once you pass the homepage, products and services are not neat and tidy, it is more like a mess, which makes it difficult to compare.

But that's just me, even Telkom's site is easier to navigate.

It's a problem with FireFox, Chrome and Safari. It's been like this for years. And now it's getting a PITA because you know no other website has this problem. I use a lot of websites where I log in and nowhere do I get endless loops and have to clear cookie data. Please fix the message centre website.

Also it would be nice if you could add a SORT option. You used to have a sort option for the emails, such as sorting by date and size. The old version had that before the update.

Hi Mephisto_Helix

I have tested Message Centre with 4 different email and other peoples email address and on multiple browsers but could not replicate.

We are not acting through your browser to block you from gaining access to your email.

Just reporting what I'm being told by the browser. Here's the technical details it gives in another pic. Maybe those 4 different email addresses and/or browsers have no or low security *shrug*

It's only a security certificate issue but still.
