I wanted to test something so I applied for the free trial, note there's already an mweb account at home registered in my dads name. So I got the free trial in my name and inputed the details and instantly I get the incorrect password message even though I know I got everything right. So I got one question: Is only one mweb account allowed to be registered per telephone number?

Yes, one trial per number.

That is correct, 1 trial account per number

Although I can completely understand why MWEB would limit it to one account per number, it seems a little counter-productive on their side to do that, since most networks are constantly changing. Either improving or deteriorating.

It would make more sense to offer something like 1 account per number per 6 months or even just per year.

I mean, what if someone trialed your 2Mb uncapped 6 months ago, but now has a 4Mb line and is considering your 4Mb uncapped service but wants to try it first?

There are lots of valid reasons for a user to need to trial your services again. When I trialed MWEB a year ago, I was less than impressed. The network was okay, but certainly not great by any means.
