Mweb hosting

Did any of you forumites take the deal by mweb for free unlimited BW hosting?

As I am already an existing Mweb customer I took the as it is free. I have filled in all the details only problem is my domain is not yet available.
I did a "whois" and it shows that my doamin is not paid for yet.
To be fair I only took the offer yesterday.

So my question is,
Who is responsible for paying the fee? ( or am I just being too hasty and should wait a bit) .... and
How long does it take before I can utilise my domain?

Your domain has been registered since it shows up on the .co.za whois, they probably have not setup your hosting account yet. Since they state the .co.za domain is free they should pay the domain registration cost to Uniforum.
You should be able to use your domain a few hours after registration once the domain has propagated. That is assuming the hosting account has been setup and details have been passed onto you.

I have all the login details and my ftp username and password, but still can't connect.
But they did say wait at least 72 hours.

I too signed up for this offer, while my mailbox has been created at mydomain - whois reveals that mydomain hasn't been set up yet. I used to work at an ISP back in the day and domain registrations took us less than 30 minutes to create on whois, not at least 72 hours.
